Painting: My Art Story by Sidney, 6th

My Art
By: Sidney K.

When I was a toddler I started to paint. My mom would give me and my
sister some paint and paintbrushes and we would go paint the concrete
wall outside. I don’t exactly practice painting, I just go with the flow. In
2018, me and my family went to Idaho for thanksgiving and me, my mom,
my sisters, and my Idaho family went to paint at this place. The obstacles
that I face are when something doesn’t go the way I wanted it to go and I
would get mad.
Painting is a calm hobby, so this inspires me to just stay calm. Both of my
sisters paint. My older sister Mackenzie inspires me because her talent is
really special. Mackenzie recently sketched a picture of our dog named
Sophie. Another example is she drew a picture of me ( and it was the bad
me).

Everyone in my family supports me in my art choices. I want to share how
good I am at painting and drawing. I learned that I need to be patient. I
fine motor skills such as painting in the lines, also hand-eye coordination.
I could teach my kids how to paint and other people to paint.
